    great post! picture #31 is of a lady making “kintsuba” this is by dipping blocks of sweet potato yokan or anko (sweet bean paste) into a thin batter then cooking them on all sides.

      One of the surfers said it’s 17 degrees Celsius. I’m pretty sure that’s cold. Guys are wearing 3 mil suits. But it really warms up in the summer.

    So beautiful! I’m not positive, but I think picture #26 are azaleas, not hydrangeas. Love these photos!

        it is called shakunage and it is a type of azalea
