For years, I read and heard people rave about the McRibb
Last week, at the Ala Moana McDonalds, decided to see what all the fuss was about.
In a word : overrated.
That was the first and last time I’ll ever have a McRib.
Vastly underwhelming,
Pickles and bar- b- que sauce???
Too sweet
can’t taste the pork
Bucket List item # 589 completed
Vastly underwhelming — nicely said. I didn’t have very high expectations, especially after reading all the media reports about what it’s made from, etc. So I was pleasantly surprised. Meaning, it wasn’t as bad as I had anticipated.
it’s just one of those things. I have to eat one every time the re-release them, but, objectively, they’re pretty horrible. when they first came out i was in school in oregon. i remember, on multiple occasions, walking close to a mile, in snow at night, to get one because McD’s was the only thing open late at night near campus.

You need an intervention. GROSS.
It was… well, better than I expected… I’m blogging about it tomorrow. LOL
So what’s the verdict? People on the mainland treat that like the holy grail, some driving for miles to get one.
I know! What’s the fascination! I thought it was OK. But I wouldn’t drive miles for one.

Whoa. Walking a mile in the snow at night. Were my parents there, too? They seem to do that all the time. LOL 🙂
oh my! Did you know what was in it before you tried it?
