Condolences to the family. i regularly stalked his food reviews ever since I started finding them in Honolulu Magazine. I often wondered how he could put away all the food he was describing. I remember reading stories about his hapa haole pre school kids who are now young adults, why they had dark tans as compared to him, his stint at Swiss Inn in the kitchen.
