    CAT,
You mentioned the other Catherine that I am a fan of…Deneuve!! After seeing her in Polanski’s movie I wanted to move to France. Du pain is the greatest everywhere in France. I never got a bad one. I enjoy it with saucisson and vin. Enjoyed your pix and commentary.

You did ALL that in 36 hours? Amazing, simply amazing. Yes, you must go back.

Ever since the movie “Chocalat” I’ve wanted to try that chocolate “soup’ that Dame Judy Dench drank every day at Juliette Binoche’s shop! Looks like you had it!

Wow! A day-and-a-half only… you did well to figure out what you wanted to do with so much to choose from.

    Have fun in London!

you can’t beat a good french baguette. one with a crust so sharp you can cut your finger on it, with fresh creamery butter and a crucible of strawberry preserves from Provence. gimme that and a chilled bottle of Perrier with a stack of lemon slices. that’s a bread and water diet i could get behind.

@turkfontaine I cut the roof of my mouth on that!

Have a great time in London!…. It will be interesting to see how you like the food choices there, relative to what you experienced in Paris / France. It has been a while since I last traveled to Europe, but I do remember that it was hard to find a bad meal in Paris (and also Brussels)…but, that was not the case in London 🙂

lol.. I had to grin when I noticed the picture with the cheeses.. out of all the cheeses France has to offer, you made a picture of ‘Gouda’, which is a Dutch cheese (named after the Dutch city ‘Gouda’).

Also, a steak w/fries and a cheeseburger? That’s not very French is it? 😉 (did look yummy though)

@svache Yes, but it illustratrated the point that there were A LOT of cheeses! And I know about the cheeseburger… I was disappointed in myself!

@Cat Haha true, the French do have a lot of cheeses.. it’s one of those things I miss in Hawaii: a big assortment of good cheese, thankfully a lot of Euro cheese is available at Whole Foods in Kahala =)

Stickers here, stickers there, stickers everywhere. Maybe you should have a contest to see if someone could get their picture taken by each one… or maybe just check to see if they are still there. BTW: one of my favorite places to eat in Hong Kong serves the best cheeseburger I have ever eaten… never apologize for eating a great cheeseburger. It is a universal food.
