First off, breakfast!
It was our last full day in London, and we didn’t have any plans.
Save for one thing: the Premier League derby matchup between Arsenal (Derek’s favorite team) and Tottenham at Emirates Stadium.
(Yes, I’m talking about soccer.)
So we had several hours to kill before the game started. We decided to hop on the Tube — love public transportation in Europe! — and visit some of the more well-known sights in London like Westminster Abbey and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.
We weren’t in any hurry, we didn’t need to stand in line to get audio tours of these places. We just wanted to leisurely walk around this historic city on such a blue-sky day. (You don’t too many of those here, you know.)
And we didn’t want to be late to the game!

Love London, one of my favorite places in the world. If I could live in Europe London would be the place.
