I got up on Sunday morning and thought my bones were freezing.
It wasn’t quite 30 degrees — and the skies were threatening some kind of natural disaster. But we had things to do — namely, things to eat — and I was determined to get it all done.
It turned out to be a great day for a stroll through campus, as it was uncrowded and mellow and peaceful. And since a lot of students have left to enjoy the Thanksgiving break, even the coffee shops and restaurants weren’t as bad as I had anticipated on a Sunday.
So here’s what we saw and, of course, ate:
Pestoral
Easily the pizzeria's best seller, the Pestoral ($16.49 for a 12-inch pie, $18.49 for 14-inch, $21.49 for 16-inch) boasts pesto, feta cheese, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, kalamata olives and sweet roma tomatoes. If we hadn't eaten so much earlier, we could've put away this entire pizza. Good thing pizza makes great leftovers!
