Born and raised on O‘ahu, Hawaiʻi, Catherine Toth Fox has been chronicling her adventures in her blog, The Cat Dish, for more than a decade. She worked as a newspaper reporter in Hawai‘i for 10 years and continues to freelance—in between teaching journalism, hitting the surf and eating everything in sight—for national and local print and online publications. She’s currently the editor of HAWAIʻI Magazine.

avoiding the trick or treat rush….or just an ordinary scene at The Daily Dish household? OR……replenishing the emergency survival kit?
oops…..didnt see there already was a question attached to the pic. Guess my favorite minature, since you asked, is ….Remy VSOP.
Reese’s Cups!!! I think that the Reese’s cups are a late addition to the miniatures’ lineup. So, before that was added, it was Krackel–which oddly enough may be the only miniature I’ve never bought as a whole candy bar before, haha!
Absolutely Reese’s Cups! Although, Hershey’s is a very close second.
Each decade or so, my tastes change, and I have a new favorite. The small foil-wrapped York Peppermint Patties that come in a bag are my favorite for the past 10 years or so. It isn’t a health food (still mostly sugar) but the chocolate is a thin layer over the minty stuff underneath, and they can advertise it as a “low fat food.”
Now that is true happiness 🙂
