There were two things on our must-do list while in Vegas:
Eat and shop.
So on Saturday — our last day in Vegas — we decided to do both.
We had lists of recommendations of restaurants to try, from Otto Enoteca Pizzeria at the Venetian to (winner of my favorite restaurant name) Beijing Noodle No. 9 at Caesar’s Palace. We wanted to try them all — trust us, if we could’ve, we would’ve — but we settled on the ones that 1) had reservations when we were hungry and 2) didn’t require us to wear anything nice.
So after a gourmet lunch at Todd English’s Olives at the Bellagio, we crossed off another thing on our list: shopping at the Las Vegas Premium Outlets North, easily one of the best outlet malls in the area.
And, of course, we ended the day with food, this time at the Wicked Spoon Buffet at the new Cosmopolitan.
I’m still not hungry.
Here’s what our final day looked like:

Anyone get arrested?
No, but we tried! LOL, nah.
Hello Cat, looks like you gals have a great time shopping and eating. I hope that made up for the bad start of your vacation.
It sure did! But now we’re paying for it. Loss of sleep. 🙁
was following your twitter and wanted to say that I’m sorry you had so much friction getting to and coming from your vacation. did they offer any compensation (travel certs, miles, etc.)? if not, make sure you call customer service
looks like you guys had a guud time while there, at least.
No compensation, but we had a great time, nonetheless.
Hi Cat!
Very happy to hear you had a wonderful visit despite the trouble getting to Vegas. Looks like all of you managed to eat your way around the town and visit several venues along the way. I hope all of you will come back soon for another visit and maybe…just maybe…hit the big one. Take care!
Megabucks… man, those machines were tough to find! I guess the casinos purposefully hide them. I can see why. $10 million and growing!
A day of food and shopping is my kind of day! I went to Olive’s for the first time a couple of weeks ago too and loved my shrimp feta dumpling dish. Putting Wicked Spoon on my must try notes.
Better to start off rocky and end of on a good note as opposed to the other way around…
You MUST go to Wicked Spoon. I thought it was SUCH a deal for $35. Not everything was super stellar. But you’ll eat your money’s worth for sure.
Cat, glad you made it to The Cosmopolitan. I love it there. Worth staying there too. Had a terrace suite with a soaking tub perfect view of the strip and overlooking the bellagio fountains from the 66th floor. It was awesome. Great coverage of Holstein’s. Tried five restaurants in the cosmo bur didn’t get to that one yet! Love all your photos!
