Is it illegal to scan photos I bought at the Grand Canyon Skywalk? Because I just did.

IMHO it is illegal unless they gave you a release or license. Was that how the image looked (flat and overexposed) or did it have more oomph? I agree, it’s a ripoff for what you paid for that image.
Yep… friendly face.
That place looks pretty cool, shame they have such onerous restrictions on things. Signs signs everywhere is signs… do this don’t do that can’t you read the sign… Making copies of a photo you bought seems odd. Did you sign a license agreement when yopu bought the photo?
No, it it not. It is your picture, you paid for it, you’re in it.
Hey Cat … I’m sure it’s ok to do that … they just wanted your money for them to take your picture … now that it’s done, I don’t think they care what you do with them … is there a copyright or trademark notice on the picture??? … but anyway, you’re not profiting by using the picture … what could they sue you for??? … promoting their attraction??? …
… sorry, but the picture is underwhelming … good looking people in the picture … but the picture does not convey how thrilling the view might have been … I just don’t see it …
… was the original picture bad??? … or is it that the photo did not scan well??? …
Probably illegal to copy. No difference from stealing music, movies, etc. If you don’t like it, restrictions on use, then don’t have a photo taken in the first place.
… Cat … do you really want to know? 🙂
