After 52 years, the Crack Seed Center, one of Ala Moana Center's original tenants, will close its doors. It will continue to sell its preserved fruits, seeds and other snacks online only.

    I love the Haleiwa Joe’s in Kaneohe and go to the one on the North Shore in the summer on occasion. As for shave ice I always preferred Aoki’s even though Matsumoto’s is more famous. Thanks for the list of other places to try, next time on the North Shore will try some of them out.

    when i get out of the water on the NS i want warm bakery goods. i’m always to cold for shave ice.- thousands aren’t
