The seeds, preserved fruits and other snacks are imported from all over Asia, including China, Taiwan, Thailand and Japan. Some products are even from Turkey.
I love the Haleiwa Joe’s in Kaneohe and go to the one on the North Shore in the summer on occasion. As for shave ice I always preferred Aoki’s even though Matsumoto’s is more famous. Thanks for the list of other places to try, next time on the North Shore will try some of them out.
