Everyone’s asking, “How’s Derek doing?” Well, he’s doing well — as you can see. He’s standing here in front of Lake Mendota, the northernmost and largest of the four lakes near the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

I vote for sitting… unless you sent him some shrinking pills for Halloween as a gag gift.
He’s not shrinking! The railing is tall! He’s six feet tall!
Got it… just looks like he is sitting in the photo. 6 feet eh? Good height!
Hello Cat, my question is, “How are you doing?”
Aw, thanks for asking. I’m doing OK. Finally over this cold thing. It’s Monday, and I already feel behind my work. Status quo!
Madison looks good on him. Has Derek ever been through a winter like Wisconsin’s before? It’s a lot easier, weather-wise, moving the other way. He looks like he is enjoying himself, but those clouds drop a lot of the white stuff come December, sometimes even a few flakes this time of year, and lots of it possible by mid-November.
HEY!! I’ve had my photo taken there too! My folks and family live in Madison! What a small world! Did you guys get a chance to walk around the lake to see the sunset at Picnic Point? From early summer all the way up until late Fall its amazing!
