It’s always a happy occasion to eat at Shige’s Saimin Stand in Wahiawa. It’s a throwback to old saimin shops in Hawaii. I just wish it wasn’t so far!

Would you believe I live maybe half a mile from Shige’s and I’ve yet to go there?
