After three hours in the air, we’re back in Honolulu.
Plane problems. No help with connecting flights. Vegas on hold for now.
It would be great if someone from Continental Airlines would say something, help or — better yet — give us food vouchers or something.
I’ll keep you updated.
Too bad HNL doesn’t have slot machines…

If HNL had slot machines no need for Vegas. Change seats twice, go 1.5 hours and then come back. Have to go through LA. The trip is off to a slow start. That usually means the rest of it will rock the house… at least one would hope.
Sorry to hear about the delay! That sucks! But no worry, Vegas ain’t going anywhere…we’ll happily wait for your arrival. I’m sure Vegas will be good to you when you get here. Did you plan for all the exciting things you want to do? We are expected to reach 100 degrees … again… Dang summer weather is just hanging on. I want cooler temps!! Have a safe flight!
BUMMERS!
At least you are safe.
Sorry to hear about your delay Cat. ‘Vegas won’t go anywhere but it is frustrating. Girls gone wild!!!
Hey Cat … what the heck??? … you’re back … I didn’t even know you left … or tried to … I feel for all of you waiting for your plane …
… those black vinyl airport seats remind of how much I hate waiting around for my flights … there is no damn way to get comfortable on those!!! … I’d rather lay down on the carpet …
… hope your day gets better!!! …
A couple of years ago I was leaving Manila coming back home. 15 minutes into the flight the captain announced some very minor part was malfunctioning, but due to FAA (it was Hawaiian Airlines) regs, they HAD to return to Manila. Only problem is that we were loaded with fuel… so they had to fly to Hong Kong and back. It took four hours to do that! We landed back at midnight and had to fly out the next day!
Oh, and here’s your chance Cat, take BACK your original seat!!!
did they give you certs for your trouble?
Oh my gosh! I hate stuff like that!! If the airlines would just try a little bit it would be a lot better.
