Cat Chat: Via Gelato hits the streets

By Catherine Toth Fox • August 3, 2012 • Food, Videos

Back in February I met Melissa Bow, creator of Via Gelato, handcrafted gelato and sorbet using locally sourced ingredients. (Watch our Cat Chat here.)

I was completely taken by her commitment to quality and sustainability — plus, her gelato was damn good — that I became an instant fan.

Bow recently hit the streets three weeks ago, selling her handcrafted gelato with flavors like green tea haupia and jasmine vanilla — all from a little food truck she literally renovated herself. (No joke!)

I decided to check in with her and see how she’s doing since the last time we Cat Chat-ted.

(Spoiler alert: she’s killing it!)

Like Via Gelato on Facebook, follow @viagelato and check out her photos on Instagram at viagelatohawaii.

I see you wore the official uniform of Cat Chat again 🙂 Now gotta go eat a bowl of ice cream. Can’t watch someone else eat ice cream… and not eat it myself. I just can’t.
