FINALLY. I can blog.

By Catherine Toth Fox • February 15, 2012 • Musings, The Daily Dish

It’s been more than a week since I could access my blog.

And let me tell you, it was more stressful NOT blogging than finding something to write about everyday.

Thank you for being patient!

I didn’t realize how much the blog had become part of my life — and how much time it actually took. I would spend hours a day, either reading articles that I could blog about, meeting people to write about, eating at restaurants to review. It’s more time-consuming than I had realized!

I’ve been blogging every weekday for the past, oh, seven years. I’ve written about everything from reality TV to bad dates to my favorite places to eat. It’s been strange not sharing my thoughts, musings, opinions and meals with you.

So now that everything seems to be working — my blog was hacked via a plug-in I had installed — I’m back to blogging every day.

Maybe it’s a good time to change it up…

Let me think about that.

CAT: Whoa gurl! I thought wot happened to you, like you didn’t pay your Wi-Fi bill or something. Getting hacked is the pits! It’s like a home invasion you feel like “violated”. Guud you are up and running, was getting worried.

I wondered whether my RSS feed had broke. No new posts in how many days? And then there it was this morning. Welcome back.

Hey Cat, Welcome back to the blogosphere,

Was the expression & fist a sign to the hacker what you want to do to him? If so, the diamond on the ring with a left hook could do some real damage, heh, heh.

Thanks for persisting with the posts, sort of start my day with it. Keep up the good work :]

Glad you’re back. I was wondering what happened, thought I was somehow being blocked out.

I missed your blog, but didn’t realize the trouble you were having because today is the first time since Feb. 5 that I’ve tried to access it. I had a surgery early last week to repair damage from a car crash in October. All but two things that hurt got better on their own, and one of the two places that still hurt turned out to be a pretty big problem. After the recent surgery, I was just too mopey from the pain and lack of ability to do anything, so I thought of you and your blog but I didn’t realize you couldn’t post it, because for the first time in about three years, I wasn’t accessing the blog regularly. Welcome back, and I’m glad to be reading again your thoughts and the thoughtful comments of many who follow your posts like I do.
