The gist: You don't have to fly to Hilo to get some of the famous chocolate-dipped shortbread cookies and candies from Big Island Candies. The only-in-Hilo company has opened a holiday pop-up shop at Ala Moana Center until the first week of January. Any of its goods make great gifts, but this Hawaiian Red Chili Toffee is something different.
Best for: Bosses, landlords and anyone who works in an office. Sharing is optional.

surely not as good as 100% kona coffee? i always thought Donkey Balls were the best gift ever. Not sure if they are still being made.
