Derek is staying at a classmate’s place about two miles outside the campus. And he was starving. So he walked down the block and ate dinner at Madtown Pizza (912 E. Johnson St., 608.250.3333), which serves specialty and custom pizzas, sandwiches, mini calzones and pasta dishes.
He ordered the Maddelicious ($12.59 for a 12-inch pie), which came topped with pepperoni, sausages, mushrooms, onions and green peppers. His stomach was very happy.

Nice….!
Too bad Madtown doesn’t deliver to Honolulu!
Hello Cat, that pizza looks soooo guud, I can taste it!
Derek said it was made to order, too. Even better!
Yummy!
Derek had his first Chicago-style hot dog, too. Lots of new experiences for him!
lovely! dont forget about the roadside farmer stands. They should be having plenny fresh ears of corn for sale ’bout now. talk about “bursting with flavor”, THEIR CORN ON THE COB is beyond ono.And take some pics of the local gigantic zucchini, squash, and pumpkins.Aint seen nothing like it! I think they have pumpkin seed spitting contests…but i could be wrong.
Cat,
I am cracking up by all the references to the country and hillbillies the last couple of days. As you have lived here, you know all too well that Madison isnt country at all, in fact for a college town, it is one of the most beautiful in the country.
I am not impressed by the pizza, but then again I am spoiled here. Where did Derek get his Chicago Style Hot Dog at? Hot dogs around these parts are like religion!
In any event looks like you will have more support then you can handle on this blog if you keep us updated.
That looks good!
