It took us 15 hours by plane and another five by car to finally get to Malpais, the southernmost part of the Nicoya Peninsula.
This little town right on the Pacific Ocean started as a fishing and cattle-farming village and now has become a hot bed for surfing and adventure tourism. Just driving here you’ll see vans with surf boards, signs for surf schools and loads of ATVs clogging up the roadways.
It just took us awhile to get here.

Cool trip so far, you must be dreading the drive back to the airport though. Love Latin America, So many good times there.
