That all looked delicious. Almost forgot that place existed, and it looks like it did eons ago. Someone should tell them to lighten up on the decorations. Remodeling might reignite their business. But maybe their loyal clients like that ‘eat in a cave’ ambiance.

    Hello Cat,
    Happy Fuud pixs Friday!
I never been to Hy’s, maybe because I’m not a steak eater.

    Happy Birthday Shelly!

Not sure how it started, by my GF and I always judge a restaurant based off of their crab cakes. That one looks super ONO!

Cat, I guess you know Ninnikuya on Waialae closed last month? We used to LOVE the crab cakes there before they changed them a couple of years ago. They used to serve them with four, garlic-based sauces. Anyway, will miss that restaurant and their steaks on a slate!

“…by my GF and I…” should be “…*but my GF and I…”

Still hoping for an “Edit” button for an X-mas gift to your blog readers, LOL!

It’s funny, about the only thing I remembered about Hy’s is the garlic bread and the ambiance and you mention both in your article. I could eat the bread all night! The dessert looked awesome. Do they serve any seafood dishes? If so, after seeing that dessert, I might have to revisit Hy’s!
