I’ll be honest, I had planned to do more than eat while in Taipei.
I booked a surf trip on Saturday, which was cancelled because of the typhoon. And we wanted to head to the Yangmingshan National Park, which wasn’t too far from our hotel via MRT and cab.
But we wound up just eating.
Though I’m not complaining.
Our day started very early, with a 6:30 a.m. breakfast at the popular Fu Hang Dou Jiang, where we had a traditional Taiwanese breakfast. Then it ended with a classy dinner at a new seafood spot near Central Market.
And there was a nap in between.
Here’s what Sunday looked like:

You guys likely needed a relaxing day after the week you guys have had. The food looks good, the best part of Asian travel is the food. Frankly found myself wanting to stay in Taiwan a little longer both times I went. And the air quality looks so much better there now.
CAT: The fish sure looks like Mempachi. Guud stuff if you don’t mind the small bones. For me I would pass on the breakfast place. I can’t get excited about soy milk and flat bread. Just give hot tea and croissant and I’m good. Nothing like crustaceans live then cooked while you wait. We are so disadvantaged by having to buy pre-cooked and frozen crab, lobsters, shrimp.
Hello Cat!
All the fuud looks soooo guud!
Another awesome day of eating!!!!! Boy, i must have gained 5 pounds just looking at the food!!!!!!
