FUUD: Where to eat tonight

By Catherine Toth Fox • September 2, 2011 • Food

It’s Friday — and you’ve been counting down to the three-day weekend.

Me, too, actually, and right now I could use a drink. (Or a massage. Right now it’s a toss-up.)

I figure many of you — whether you’ve just completed your second week in college or survived a marathon meeting where nothing got done — you probably deserve a bit of unwinding.

So here are some of my favorite spots to hang out after work, with some of my favorite nosh items.

Get out there and eat, folks. Have a great weekend!

It must be Friday, my favorite places for a Friday afternoon stop were a toss up between Indigo’s, Haleiwa Joe’s Kaneohe, or Boston’s Kailua. But hey, those picks were pretty good too. Did fall into the Murphy’s habit when I was with BankOh downtown highrise.

Where’s the Boston’s in Kailua? Is that where Bob’s Pizzeria is now?

LOL… if that happened in the last couple of year probably so. Was last home in March of 2009. And at that time it was Boston’s Kaimuki as I was at Chaminade. Hale Vietnam was also a top choice.

I forgot about your affinity for Hale Vietnam. Love that place, too.

Hey Cat … all those pics make me wish I got out more often … anyway, don’t know if you care … but us football animals are officially coming out of hibernation right about now …

… so for me, this weekend will be filled with football games … will Derek be able to attend a Badger home game? … if he’s into that …

Boston’s in Kailua is across the street from someone’s favorite malassada location. Bob’s Pizza is by ‘Ōiwi Ocean Gear and Island Snow near Kailua Beach Park.
