#CatTravels: Top 10 Taipei moments

It was tough narrowing down my experiences in Taipei to just 10.

Because there were easily more than that.

Checking out Shilin Night Market, listening to jazz at an old-fashioned speakeasy, walking around the National Palace Museum, eating Mister Donut every chance we got, watching Melissa Chang down shots of snake sperm — the list goes on and on.

But for the sake of this blog — and all my short-attention-span readers! — I’ve cut the list down to these 10. Not including the bonus photo at the end, of course. (smile)

And here they are, in no particular order:

1. Walking and eating

One of my most favorite things I did on this trip was walk and eat — with Melissa Chang and Sara Lin. This area — near the National Taiwan University — was my favorite.

Thanks to everyone who followed my adventures in Taipei on Twitter @thedailydish and on Instagram @catherinetoth. And special thanks to Hawaiian Airlines for allowing me to be part of this special inaugural flight.

Steakhouses are surprisingly good in Amsterdam. Indonesian Rice Tables are a must in Amsterdam.

Finally back in the land of free and fast wifi! And can read your blog. I had a great time with you as always, Cat!

CAT: Thanks for sharing your adventure. It is so good traveling in the comfort of my own home and bathroom. Also, packing and unpacking is nuts.

Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed all your adventures and am glad you and Melissa survived the typoon! 🙂 Question — are all those fruits and veggies grown locally or imported?

Whenever, you start a sentence with “If we hadn’t already eaten…” I know that you’re about to eat again. A wonderful journey through your top-ten.
